Richard Childress Racing: The Best At Talladega

Richard Childress Racing boasts 11 victories at the 2.66 mile Talladega Superspeeway, the most by any car owner in Sprint Cup Series history. The late Dale Earnhardt had nine trips to victory lane in Alabama. Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer continued the winning tradtion, sweeping the races in 2010. This week, any one of the four drivers out of RCR could end up in victory lane. Kevin Harvick will race chassis No. 343 from the Richard Childress Racing NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stable. Harvick led twice for five laps in February's Daytona 500 in this chassis, before retiring early with an expired engine. In 20 starts at Talladega Superspeedway, Harvick has earned one win, five top-five and nine top-10 finishes. "In all of the practices and races leading up to the race in Daytona, the cars were really fast. We had a good Speedweeks all the way up until the (Daytona) 500." Happy said recently.
